Effective teaching begins with striving to meet the learning needs of each student during the instructional process. In my experience, incorporating technology can increase teacher effectiveness and student achievement percentages if utilized regularly. This educational catalyst not only supports academic development but prepares students for 21st Century careers. However, exposure and access to technology is not always ready and available to all students for various reasons.

 I believe as educators it is our duty to ensure equitable digital experiences for all students. Incorporating a 1:1 Chromebook initiative will extend traditional learning time and maximize high quality meaningful lessons which in turn closes scholar achievement gaps.
